Saratoga Gaming and Raceway’s summer excitement is a sure bet! With more than 1,700 video gaming machines, live harness racing, premier dining facilities and exhilarating nightlife, there is something for everyone.
Celebrate the summer season by trying your luck at winning a share of over $200,000 in cash and prizes. Or, if you’re looking for racing excitement, experience the thrill of live harness racing four to five nights a week on what has been called one of the most beautiful half-mile tracks in the country. Post time is 7:00pm. Also offered this summer is a way to beat the heat and avoid the crowds during the flat track season. Watch and wager on all of the thoroughbred action from Saratoga Race Course in air-conditioned comfort. Simulcasting of the meet will be available daily along with other tracks from across the country.
In addition to the Las Vegas-style Garden Buffet and the trackside restaurant, Fortunes, Saratoga Gaming and Raceway’s fine dining restaurant, The Lodge, is returning for another fantastic season. Located at 1 Nelson Avenue, The Lodge will be open from July 18th through Labor Day weekend, Wednesday through Monday from 4:00pm until 11:00pm. The 75-seat restaurant features a contemporary continental cuisine with a cutting edge flare. Reservations are recommended.
Things really heat up this summer at Vapor Night Club, one of the hottest spots in the Capital Region. Unwind at Vapor’s Patio Party every Friday and Saturday night starting at 6pm. Bands perform live every Friday Night and DeeJay Element, from some of the hottest Clubs in New York City, keeps the crowd pumped all night long at the Ultimate Dance Party every Saturday starting at 10pm.
National acts for the summer season include: singers of the 1966 hit “See You in September”, The Happenings (July 17), New Orleans first family of funk, The Neville Brothers (August 7), country music singer-songwriter, Joe Diffie (August 21) and the Beatles tribute band as seen on Broadway, Beatlemania (August 28).
